In the war of Humans and Orcs that occured long ago many Orcish warriors were corrupted by demonic influence and became tools of blackest darkness. One such warrior was the leader of the Half-Tribe of the Bloodied Axe Clan; Mogul Kahn. Mogul was slain by human Paladins but mysteriously was seen fighting alongside the Scourge around the time Mannoroth started to command the Orcs in the war against Archimonde. Mogul Kahn the Axe has been revived by demons and uses his reflexes and powerful blows to hunt down and seek out the Sentinels' agile warriors and cut them down to size, even projecting his lust for war onto them.

> Starting Items <
These are the items that I buy when I use Axe. I always get 3 Tangos of Essifation for HP regen, a Stout Shield for defense and an Ironwood Branch for an additional HP and Mana. Others go for 2 Stout Shield and a Tango of Essifation which is for me is an early death because even though you can manage to block
alot of damage from creeps you will not be able to farm that well if those heroes get to you and cause
heavy damage before you can buy your Ring of Health.
> Killer Item Build <
Boots instead of Boots of Travel for Damage and let your teammates do the defense and pushing.
Axe is best if he's hero hunting. After getting Vanguard and Dagger, you probably need more Mana Regen
to supply your killing ability with Berserker's Call so you need to buy Perseverance first before Claymore
and Broadsword. Black King Bar is for more survivability in clashes and Butterfly as your luxury item.
> Tanker Item Build <
enemy heroes. Vanguard is always a must for Axe, it's the best complement item for him to have.
Bloodstone is for the Regen which is a great help to spam your Berserker's Call and also for the 450 HP tankiness. You can either go for a Heart of Tarrasque for your last item, if there are less disabler
enemy heroes or Black King Bar if there are alot of stunners and nukers on the other team.

axe- basically he has a slow attack speed and in my opinion has a low damage count. .
axe's role is to tank the enemy's attack. .
my build:
starting: 2 stout shield. .
early game: convert 1 stout shield to Vanguard, then try to build up phase boots afterward. .
next- farm at neutral creeps and build up perseverance. . if you have this three beginner items you can go hunting with another allied hero. .
try to save and buy DAGGER as early as possible. .
next item to build is maelstorm and then blademail and then the perseverance you have can be used to build up bloodstone. .
NOTE: THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEM FOR AXE IS THE KELLEN'S DAGGER. . (to initiate first move)

axe's counter helix is enough for damage, you don't need +damage items. after kellen's dagger go for HoT immediately or BKB depending on the flow of the game.

my building items in the 1st are 2 stout shields, boots of speed, tango. as much as possible get vanguard early then phase boots. then u can go for killing and tanker items if the game would go that far.
