Dota Leviathan Guide | Tidehunter Item Build

Posted by Kim Molano On 1:56 PM 1 comments

Greatest of the sea giants, Leviathan was sealed away in the aftermath of the war between the Old Gods and the Titans in ancient times. Now released by the Lich King to aid in his crusade against the Sentinel, he cleaves through waves of enemies with his mighty anchor, breaking enemy sieges before they even begin. As terrible a foe on land as he is in water, those who stand before the Tidehunter are swept away in a sea of spikes, eviscerated as he closes in to pulverize those left to receive his wrath.

~ Item Builds ~

> Starting Items <
These are the must starting items for Leviathan, the Tide Hunter. You need a courier to transport
your bottle because this will be your main regeneration for your mana and hit points

> Killer Item Build <
This is probably the best set for Leviathan who wants to have a killer role in the team. Mask of Madness
for Lifesteal and Battlefury for damage. You can also be the setter at the same time for your team (if you lack any) with the Dagger of Escape. Your luxury item would be Assault Cuirass. It is for defense and at the
same time for more Damage Per Second and also support armor aura for your team which is very helpful.

> Setter / Support Item Build <
If you will choose to be a setter / support team player, these are items that is the perfect fit for
Leviathan, the Tide Hunter. Use Dagger of Escape to set the clash and eventually use Khadgars Pipe of Insight for a nice protection for your team to be able to stand still after the clash. Lastly, you can either choose Radiance or Assault Cuirass (or if you are that good in farming BOTH) for your luxury item

> Optional / Situational Items <
Black King Bar if you have problem dealing with stunners and spell casters.
Blademail if you have DPS enemy hero like Mortred, Phantom Lancer and etc.
Linken Sphere for more shell and to avoid single target spell.
Magic Stick to help you survive at some point of the game.
